This project underwent a remarkable transformation, evolving from an outdated deck to a commanding raised patio that exudes both functionality and elegance. Divided into two distinct sections, the patio offers spaces for both leisurely lounging under a pergola and enjoying outdoor dining. The focal point of the design is a meticulously laid herringbone pattern at the center of the patio, creating visual interest and contrast. Additionally, large steps seamlessly extend the flow of the patio into the backyard, enhancing accessibility and continuity. To soften the rugged terrain, garden beds were integrated within the walls, introducing vibrant softscape elements that add layers of color and texture. To complete the look, elegant coping was installed to cap the rugged feel of the walls, elevating the overall aesthetic with sophistication. This thoughtful combination of hardscape and softscape elements results in a harmonious outdoor oasis that seamlessly blends beauty with functionality.
