Our Proven Design-Build Process
At Visscher Landscapes, we believe the best outdoor spaces begin with clarity, collaboration, and a thoughtful design process. Our approach is structured, seamless, and highly personalized, ensuring you feel informed, confident, and inspired at every step.
1. Discovery Call
A brief conversation to understand your vision, goals, project scope, and general budget. This call ensures we’re a good fit and that your project aligns with our design-build standards.
2. On-Site Consultation
We meet at your home to experience the space, gather measurements, review design possibilities, discuss materials, and understand your aesthetic. We then may capture drone photography for later design overlays.
3. Preliminary Design & Budget Presentation
Approximately 1–2 weeks later, we meet to review:
A clean, foundational 2D layout showing core elements, potential landscape features, a budget range based on the scope and scale, and high-level recommendations to guide the design direction.
If the overall vision and budget are aligned, we move into the Design Phase.
4. Design Phase
This phase unlocks the full creative process. You’ll receive:
A refined design evolved onto a drone image of your actual property
Material selection and curated samples brought directly to your home, as well as an optional landscape yard review
Up to two design revisions
A master plan with full-colour renderings and details
Continued communication and design adjustments
5. Final Proposal & Project Agreement
With the design confirmed, we prepare a detailed fixed-price proposal outlining scope, materials, timelines, and investment structure. Once approved, we schedule your project and begin pre-construction planning..
6. Build & Transform
Our team brings your design to life with craftsmanship, precision, and continuous communication throughout the build.
